We visited Das Bierhaus on Moorabool St. during the October Feast and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We tried some authentic German dishes, including sausage and schnitzel, which were excellent. I also tried the beer paddle, and it was one of the best I have ever had. I only wish I had more room to try even more of the food and beers, definitely a place to return to!

They do make amazing schnitzel 😋. The bagel is a must try. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here and can't wait to come back for dinner next time 🙂. The host even speaks German, it makes it even more original!!! Highly recommend this place 👌

Visited Das Bierhaus last weekend. My partner is German background so well experienced with German cuisine. I found the general atmosphere cosy, the venue has been quite well renovated. Wait staff dressed the part in Dirndls and Lederhosen , were quite attentive & pleasant. We both enjoyed the pretzel entree, but found the beef goulash a little lacking in tenderness but otherwise hearty & tasty. We finished off with apple strudel which I liked but my partner thought could have been sweeter. Overall for $60 each including drinks was reasonable. I would return to this rsdtaurant.

Had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The service really stood out, it was friendly, attentive and genuine. The manager made us feel so welcome and you could tell he was passionate about the beer and the experience. Really refreshing to see someone so knowledgeable and proud of what they do. We ordered the chicken schnitzels and they were incredible. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and clearly homemade. The portion sizes were huge and well priced. It was a lovely meal all around.
